Rebecca Riser seems to be an erroneous entry. I found her listed as a spouse on genealogy.com but there is no evidence from Charles’ children that she existed.
My grandfather was Charles shoop bron 1888. He married Rebecca Kiser . I never heard of a first wife. Could there be 2 Charles Shoop ? I think his middle name was jack.
Charles was my great-uncle, his brother was George, my grandfather. It is possible I have incorrect information from your side of the family. You are the first person I’ve had contact with. Would you be able to fill in any details?
Rebecca had 6 or 8 children. I never knew where grandad was from but we thought it was Bedford area. Could it be when Cleo died he moved away and started over ? I / we have lots of questions .

If we’re talking about the same Charles, he did. Cleo was his first wife and gave him one daughter – Olive Cleo. He then married again and moved to East Loop, near Frankstown, PA. They had several children – James William and Jesse (twins) Charles Jr., and Velma. His second wife than died – I don’t know how or why – and Charles married for the third time – Irene Mable Weld, my grandmother. They had three children – Vera, Roy, and Robert, my dad. The Cleo you mention is buried in Lovely, PA. Hope this helps.
Very helpful, thanks. I spoke with my aunt Dorothy this weekend (George’s daughter) and she believed Charles married Cleo, who died, then married Cleo’s sister. I am unsure of the second wife’s name. I have it listed as Rebecca Kiser but I am not sure that’s right. I would love to fill in Charles’ line so any information you are able to provide is appreciated.
