I started working on transferring all the content of shoop.net to WordPress yesterday. So far, so good. The family tree is using a plugin called “Genealogy” that gives me a nice start but I will need to do some real work to make it more useful and flexible.

I can’t believe that I started this project over 13 years ago (and haven’t touched it in about 8). There was a lot more activity on the old site than I was aware of since the email server stopped notifying me of comments in about 2004.

By moving to WordPress I hope to share the site and the administration with more people.
